Is sleeping with socks on bad for you?

Today is the 13th of March and we celebrate National Sleep Day. This day helps us to focus on our lifestyles and the quality of our sleep. 

In recent years the quality of our sleep has deteriorated. For many experts, the origin of the problem is due to the new daily rhythms (the famous "subway, work, sleep"), mobile phones and all the screens that surround us. They are present from the first minutes of our days to the last.

We are sensitized by every people who fight to make us understand that sleep is essential to our happiness and health. 

According to the National Sleep Foundation, we are unequal in the face of sleep and we have different needs to increase the potential of our organism. This phenomenon evolves with time and the age of our bodies. The latest scientific studies agree that it would take between 7 and 8 hours of sleep to get all the benefits you need.

Sleeping with socks is recommended by serious scientific studies because it would have a positive effect on our sleep. Sleeping with socks helps us fall asleep. Indeed, they give the warmth that would help us close our eyes easily. Now we must choose the appropriate socks! Choose soft and thin socks with soft elastics. For two reasons : 

  • These socks increase the body's capacity to manage your temperature all night. 
  • To avoid that your body considers your socks as "disturbing things" and thus lose sleep quality.
